More Midget work.

Well fitted the pipes for the oil cooler now and the base adpator plate. Quite straight forward really. Also bought some indicator that were used on a Healey to use.
Raised a list of jobs that need to be completed before end of Feb and its quite long but not impossible, just bitty little things to sort out like number plates, indicators, new grill, towing eyes that sort of thing.

Well had my sister down from Edinburgh and found out that the MOT on her Landy ran out on the 18th December! Not impressed! So managed to get it into a local garage for a quick MOT to find out what it would fail on and was pleasantly surprised that it was relativley OK. It did fail on a couple of points the front outriggers (hold the body onto the chassis) were in need of some welding and the rear fog lamp was failing. So i called the troops Chris Cooper and Ian Tapner and we met up at Chris's workshop. After fourr fabricated plates for the outriggers and chassis Chris had done a fantastic job and the chassis looked really good. So onto the lamp. It turned out to be both the lamp at the back and the fuse holder inside the cab! So a quick change of the internals of the lamp and a clean up of the fuse holder and were done! Thanks chaps.
Next morning back to the MOT station for a retest and all was find and got a ticket. Then frog marched my sister down to the Post Office to get a new tax disc and send her on her way to Edinburgh!
